What Our Clients Say

We recently did a major construction project in our downtown condo. The problem was installing new hardwood floors to match the existing ones. we didn’t need an “installer”, we really needed a craftsman and that’s what we got in Trevor’s results. The floors are stunning and the workmanship is exceptional! I feel so lucky that our contractor knew about Trevor and his work because I can’t imagine there are many people around with that level of skill. Mike and I would recommend Trevor unequivocally.

Stephanie Johanns, Omaha, NE

I have read the testimonials about the 14 hour work days and the constant drive for perfection. I heard how hardwood flooring is Trevor’s passion. Recently I had a chance to see if it was all true. I found that it was and it really shows in his work. I would not only recommend Lifetime Hardwood Floors but I would challenge you to find somebody more knowledgeable and for someone who pays greater attention to detail than Trevor and Lifetime Hardwood Floors. That is how highly I think of this company.

Clarence Nicholas, Bennington, NE

I want to express my sincere appreciation for your superior craftsmanship and uncompromising dedication to professionalism, timeliness and design. Your relentless attention to detail exceeded my every expectation and in my opinion catapults Lifetime Hardwood Floors miles ahead of the competition. Moreover, it is this type of construction that many say does not exist anymore. I too, shared this sentiment before I witnessed the completed product of your company, I would like to say thanks again and that I look forward to doing business with you once again.

Trevor did a hardwood oak floor in our country home 12 years ago. He did a very nice job; actually an AMAZING job!! We have gotten an unbelievable number of compliments on the floor. It is the first thing that people see when coming into our home and everyone comments positively about the floor. Trevor added his own “touch” to the floor…. the Brazilian Cherrywood design and the Brass Rail around the edge and corner designs are always mentioned. He certainly takes his job very seriously and evidently has a real “passion” for his work…..Thank You, Trevor, for a spectacular project!!!

Sarah A., Omaha, NE

Trevor recently refinished our hardwood floors in our 1956 ranch style home in mid town Omaha. They look absolutely beautiful! He did an amazing job. We thought his attention to detail is one of the things that makes his work so unique and high quality. He was also reliable and trustworthy. We highly recommend him to anyone looking to redo their floors.

hardwood floor deep clean

Deep Cleaning

A Deep Clean removes dirt, oil, and other contaminants that build up on your floor and rob it of its sheen.

Over time, hardwood floors become dull, even with light or normal wear and tear.

No matter how diligent you are, daily hardwood floor maintenance doesn’t remove all of the dirt, grease, silicones, and other pollutants that end up on the floor. These substances get into the cracks and crevices and contribute to an overall lifeless, lusterless floor. But almost any worn hardwood floor can be restored to a gorgeous glow with a Lifetime Hardwood Floors Deep Clean.

hardwood floor being recoated

No matter how well you maintain your hardwood floors, normal wear takes a toll. Microscopic scratches on the top coat dull their shine.

Restore shine to your floors, and protect them from daily wear and tear.

If your hardwood floors look lifeless, it may be time for a re-coat. The National Wood Flooring Association recommends re-coating your hardwood floors every 3 to 5 years, depending on the amount of traffic. For tired hardwood floors that aren’t old and damaged enough to need refinishing, a re-coat is just the thing to bring a high, smooth shine back to your floors.

hardwood floor refinishing with sander

The only way to repair serious damage or change a floor's color is to sand it down to the bare wood.

Refinishing a hardwood floor restores a damaged floor to its original glory.

Whether you’re restoring a worn-out or damaged floor or you want to change the color of your hardwood floors, refinishing is a less expensive option than a new installation. To refinish your floor, we sand down the old sealer and the topmost layer of wood so that the surface becomes new again. After we repair and stain the floor, we finish it with two coats of low-odor, low-VOC, water-based sealer.

UV curing hardwood flooring

UV Curing

UV curing has been used in dentistry for decades, and it's just the thing to instantly cure your hardwood floor without odor and with very low levels of VOCs.

UV curing is safer and more convenient than air-curing.

UV curing involves a machine with a UV light that moves along the floor and cures the finish in a matter of seconds. The finishes used with UV curing have even fewer VOCs than the typical water-based, air-drying topcoat. This makes it a safer and healthier coating option. UV curing enables you to walk on the floor in shoes within just a few hours, compared to five days with air-cured finishes.

LED Curing hardwood floors

LED Curing

Lifetime Hardwood Floors is the only hardwood flooring company in the Omaha area that offers LED-curing, which emits no odors or VOCs and cures instantly.

LED Curing: The safest, most eco-friendly option for hardwood floor coating.

LED-curing works with hardwax oils, which are completely free of odors, solvents, and VOCs. These oils penetrate deeply into the wood, providing matchless protection against damage once they’re cured. LED lights cure the finish instantly, so you can get back to your rooms right away. LED-cured floors are more resistant to scratches than air-cured or UV-cured floors, and down the road, we can touch up small areas of the floor without having to re-coat the whole thing.
